How to Make Your Own Scouting Kit

An important part of IPM is monitoring insect activity before taking action. A scouting kit is simply the tools needed for monitoring insect activity, stored together to make it easier to use. Some items your kit should include are: magnifying glass, a guide to help you identify pests, containers to place insects in, and alcohol to preserve them.
