Honeysuckle vine is an attractive addition to the garden, but be careful, as there are two kinds: the native, Florida-friendly coral honeysuckle, and the highly invasive Japanese honeysuckle.

Coral honeysuckle, also called trumpet honeysuckle, is known for its bright red tubular flowers (there are also cultivars with yellow flowers) that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Japanese honeysuckle has white, fragrant flowers, and spreads so aggressively that it's banned in several states.
