School Gardens
Not only are school gardens great way to introduce children to gardening, they can be used to teach practically every subject. Learning about plants, insects, and weather sneaks in some science. Math is learned through practical gardening activities like measuring. A school garden can also be used to teach social studies, as children learn about the food and farming of other cultures.
